With a rich history dating back to the colonial era, Donceles is known for its historic architecture, including colonial and neoclassical buildings. It is famous for housing numerous second-hand bookstores, where rare and antique books can be found. Additionally, important buildings such as the Teatro de la Ciudad Esperanza Iris and the Legislative Assembly of Mexico City are located on this street. Donceles is a place full of culture and history, reflecting the past and present of the Mexican capital. To get around the Historic Center of Mexico City, there are several public transportation options available: METRO - Nearby stations: Zócalo (Line 2, blue line), Bellas Artes (Lines 2 and 8, blue and green lines), Allende (Line 2), and Pino Suárez (Lines 1 and 2, pink and blue lines). These stations connect the Historic Center with different parts of the city. METROBUS - Line 4: Passes through the Historic Center with stations such as Buenavista, Hidalgo, Bellas Artes, and San Lázaro. It is a convenient option for connecting to the northern area and the airport. TROLLEYBUS - Line 1: Runs along Eje Central Lázaro Cárdenas and provides access to the Historic Center. This line connects the area with the southern part of the city. BUSES AND MICROBUSES - Several bus and microbus routes pass through the main avenues of the Historic Center, such as Eje Central, 5 de Mayo, and 20 de Noviembre, facilitating access from various parts of the city. TRAM - The Tourist Tram runs along some of the most important streets in the Historic Center, such as Madero and 16 de Septiembre, offering a tourist route through the area. ECOBICI - There are multiple Ecobici stations in the Historic Center, allowing the use of shared bicycles to get around the area. Cleaning is carried out before check in. If you would like additional cleaning during your stay, we can coordinate it at an extra cost. Smoking is not allowed inside the apartment.
